NAUMX3 Mixing Chamber
A specially developed component, engineered through years of testing and refinement
The NAUMX3 Mixing Chamber is one of the key components of the NAUMX3 system, specially designed to provide consistent, controlled, and efficient mixing of multiple filament colors.
This is not a standard off-the-shelf component. Its design is the result of years of development, testing, experimentation, and refinement. Numerous internal geometries and configurations were tested to optimize material flow, heat transfer, and mixing performance.
The goal was to develop a chamber capable of combining different colors in a controlled way while maintaining a stable material flow and producing smooth, predictable color transitions.
Precision Aluminum Construction
The Mixing Chamber is manufactured from aluminum, selected for its excellent thermal conductivity, mechanical strength, and stability when operating at elevated temperatures.
The aluminum body is additionally protected with a special silicone coating, providing an additional layer of insulation and protection during operation.
This combination of a solid aluminum core and silicone outer coating creates a durable, thermally stable, and reliable component designed for continuous use.
Optimized Internal Geometry
Inside the chamber is a specially engineered mixing path designed to control and optimize the flow of molten filament material.
The internal geometry guides the material through the chamber, encouraging gradual and efficient blending of different colors before the material exits as a single filament.
This carefully developed design helps achieve:
More consistent color mixing
Smoother color transitions
Stable material flow
Better control over the final filament appearance
Reliable performance during continuous operation
Developed Specifically for NAUMX3
The Mixing Chamber was designed specifically for integration with the NAUMX3 system and its heating, control, and extrusion architecture.
Every part of its design has been developed with one objective in mind: to achieve stable, predictable, and repeatable filament color mixing.
